This short film was filmed in Bali, Indonesia.

Pre-production, filming and editing was done by a solo filmer, rawandi. This film was shot for a film festival across south east Asia. It was hosted by an organization called, Iramalog and the event was sponsored by Vans Malaysia.

Totaling to 47 film entries by many very talented filmers and surfers, “A playground to express” film managed to score the second position.

Following the win of “A playground to express”, I was given the opportunity to travel to Batu Karas on a full paid trip. A small island in Indonesia. Shot and edited by Rawandi.

It was an eye opening trip especially being someone who’s born and raised in the city. Every angle felt like home. Managed to shoot so many details over 10 days i was there.
